Aimée Hillman is a contemporary artist based between London and Ibiza. Working across different platforms and mediums, she specializes in painting, photography, and design.
Her work is an eclectic mix, reflecting her upbringing as a city girl in London, to the vast contrasts living on the island of Ibiza. Youthful, energised and highly stylised, her artworks take inspiration from modern culture and her immediate environment. As a highly sensitive person Aimée experiences a heightened sensory relationship with the world. This is displayed by her hyper focus to detail, playful uses of colour, and bold graphics. In her artworks Aimée’s desire is to communicate through a pleasing, often nostalgic aesthetic; capturing the many layers and moments we experience in everyday life, the ones that may be missed.
Since her first debut show held at The Royal Automobile Club London, Aimée has continued to take commissions and exhibit in solo shows. Most notably, she was recognised by renowned British fashion designer Paul Smith, and has an ongoing collaboration with the international fashion brand. At Paul Smith’s spaces Aimée exhibited her latest photography series ‘Blossom’ and textile series, ‘Alpha’. Aimée’s artwork has been collected globally and resides in collections in Europe and the United States.
