Cindy Delpart is a Canadian artist living and working in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Delpart creates a variety of abstract and figurative artworks. She draws her inspiration from the vast prairie landscapes in south-western Saskatchewan and Alberta. Delpart’s landscape paintings include abstract expressions of the wind whipping through endless grass to the glacier-carved undulations of the Missouri Coteau. When she paints “plein air” or open air, she feels most inspired and connected to the prairie landscape. Delpart’s paintings take her from the physical world to a place of personal imagination and introspection. Delpart received a Graphic Design diploma from George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario. She also was invited to the Emma Lake Artist in Residency Program at the University of Saskatchewan. Her work has been extensively exhibited across Canada including two solo shows at the prestigious Masters Gallery in Calgary, Alberta. Her artworks also reside in a number of important corporate and private collections including Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Encana Corporation, Cantak Corporation and ConoccoPhillips Canada Resources Corporation.
